August 14, 2002 Author: vaz No new comic for friday, since I wasn't even able to bring up the site on my own computer.. and I fgure I'll leave this strip up an extra few days since I'm not sure if anyone really got to see it. new comic Monday. later All I completely forgot.. it totally slipped my mind.. this month Under Power is a year old. Not today mind you.. it was august 3rd... when Sergeant. Pepper taught the band to play.. and err .. ugh never mind. I looked at megatokyo and it turns out they're 2 years old today. I'm sure I'll be accused of slacking off in my artistic duties and ripping them off.*sighs* Anyway's I hope you like our little anniversary pin up. I guess I should thank everyone who has helped me either get this comic started or helped it keep going. So of course i have to thank Piro and Barry T. Smith for creating the 2 web comics that gave me the loony idea to start my own! Vanishing of course for not only providing Up with a home on-line but also for writing chores and keeping me in line. Lilly for proving angels are real and keeping my heart in safe keeping as well as keeping my sanity in one piece. love ya babe. Jake the best little brother and guardian angel a guy could ask for. Natsuki all around UP pimp and #1 fan, thanks for keeping me in step with what's hot and what's not! Scout A.K.A. "the Elf", whom without there would be no Under Power comic. Thanks for breaking my heart in the first place and making me wonder what the hell I was going to do with all these damn elf drawings. And also for keeping my forums in line. Kai for showing me how to make a freaking word balloon. All the old monkeys I used to talk to over at the MT forums. Merekat for much knowledge. Kristal and Daniel for pimping my comic in those early bygone days. :P <reads like a damn Oscar acception speech.. sheesh> Also everyone at the nekobox channel. Ren and Nikky, thanks for all the hours of listening. Young and Louis, for the faith, money and patience.. not too mention kind hearts. Nekobox.. you really can't stop the wai! Ian and Matt at Mac Hall for the readers and occasional guidance. Inkz at Mac studios for his mad skilz, his humor and support. Poe for setting the pace.. Dom for.. well being DOM! Jason for letting me crash on weekends. heh. Logic Ninja and metal sonic for the great filler and occasional poking. damn rodents! George Lucas and idiots.. (but I repeat myself) for providing me with fodder to entertain the jaded masses who read my comic. Everyone and everybody else I forget to mention thank you all very much.. and most especially I want to thank all the people who read this comic for all the support and your patronage and your god like patience. I hope at the very least I've made you forget your problems for a minute or so in your days. Thank you very kindly.
