September 14, 2006 Author: vaz AUCTIONS Faery drawing 1 note: I screed up when I made th elisting and listed the papoer size as 11 X 17 when it is actually 11 X 14, sorry for the error) Faery drawing 2 wasteland elf this image popped into my head, sort of a madmax, meets western fantasy.. dont ask, I have a mixed up mind. Ok time to elaborate. First off the stupidicus is slow going mainly for three factors, 1)I'm not used to writing out scripts, i tend to work things out visually, and 2) making sure I can pay my bills. two relates to getting auction art done, so that has to be my main priority. 3) is that i wish to finish the elf short story first. What I'm debating though is remaking the elf short into separate story, not involving the elf. though the more I think about it, the more likely I will keep it an elf story. anyway a hold up with the elf story is I'm redrawing the whole thing from page 1. The simple reason is I want to do a good stand alone story and their are sections of the elf short i think don't work and are confusing, hence I'm redrawing. Actually the same goes for the first few pages of the stupidicus comic. The art is lacking in dynamics department, hence that's getting an overhaul. I'm hoping to get things back in gear sometime after October. It has to wait till after October you see, because I got a jury summons. yes even though that stupid little paper says if you have no viable means of transportation, you cant get out of it,. even though your goddamn local transit system is inefficient and you cant afford to even ride the god damn thing, they don't care. so we'll see how that goes. So as it is, I need to churn out allot of auction pieces this month, in case i get stuck with Jury hell, just to make sure I'm covered next month. this month was also an unfortunate month to get artists block. But I seem to be ok now. Currently the elf story is in the midst of getting ret-humbnailed, and the ending will bee added as well of course. Stupidicus I'm outlining the major points, then working out humor. Ok that's the meat of it really, I guess there wasn't much to add really, just little details. Thanks to folks who still check the site and buy the art.Ok I have another piece to ink, and with luck finish tonight. Until later true cynics, vaz
