Currently working on a comic. As for those who keep asking if I will return to underpower, yes I hope to at some point, I'm still hoping, that dave will get the time to begin writing it again though, as I just don't feel I do the original underpower's sense of humor any justice.

However I'm not averse to making my own underpower pastiche. so I'm currently plotting out underpower one shot and something else loosely affiliated with underpower.

as for th elf one shot I never finished, that may be on permanent hiatus, as it screams pretentious to me in hindsight.

oh and still tryign to ge the time to read which the author was kind enough to send me.

What am I up too...
Or an Accounting of mediocre proportions..

This will be very disjointed as I'm currently going on no sleep, and I'm very tired.

I don't sleep normal hours. Everyone who knows me, knows that. some days I don't go to bed till I collapse in a pile of man meat, upon a bed composed of 50% sketchbooks, 20% random knick knacks and 10% dust and the remaining percent is bed.. I've been having a bit of a bad time of things lately. My illness left me unable to draw for some time, during and after, thankfully I feel better (relatively) However the aftermath is a currently frozen credit card and a rather large bill to pay. So of course the focusing of my unimaginative mind to create auction pieces. I spent my waking hours composing said pieces, four in fact, auction ideas i just need to transfer to bristol paper and ink. with that done, I rallied myself for a walk to my Post office box, and sough in vain hope for payment for a recent auction art. While there was no check, I did get a wonderful surprise.

A free book from first time author, Patrick Rothfuss, called "The Name of the Wind." with a wonderful note attached.

This certainly made my day, so thank you sir, I really appreciated, and I look forward to sitting down and reading it, once the free time presents itself.

So I spent the night brianstorming while working. stories to tell, I jsut have to sit my ass down and choose one.

I';ve gotten a good deal of email asking me if I will continue underpower.

Answer for now is yes, some day in the future I will return to it. As long as story concepts present themselves with the cast i will do an underpower. Currently I would like to move on to a few non underpower themed comics. Though Something recently came to mind that may take place in the Underpower "universe." The hard part for me is deciding what to do and where to start it, and more importantly, not over think it. The comic I was going to do is being postponed until the current co creator finds the time to devote to it.

AS of this minute, I'm forcing my self to stay awake the next five hours with a combination of loud rock music, caffeine, and Wikipedia.

My experiment has yielded much, such as the information that Lou reeds seminal "fuck you" album, "metal machine music" is used, (albeit, a small portion of it.) in the anime "boogiepop phantom." As well as such diverse info that David Bowie's "velvet Goldmine" song was originally about making out with a guy and that the flash Gordon soundtrack listing in wikipedia is rather small.

Before you say "YOU SHOULD BE DRAWING" I shall add that I don't fucking draw when I'm half asleep, because the chance of screwing up auction pieces is very high at that time. and I don't make much, if any use, of white out in my work.

though I am doing some sketches.

Anyway that was a brief, disjointed and truly uninformative rant by me, to you. I shall now return to my teeth devouring coffee and my current review of lou reed wiki entries.

In case you're wondering, I dislike naming stand alone art, and I have a habit of thinking of music while I work. Hence the references to my favorite band (radio head) and solo artist (Lou Reed).

Well One more piece to go. And yes if the art is any indication I Haven't been in the best head space. However I don't usually draw sad girls, I tend to draw guys wrapped in chains with spikes through their eyes. (yeah I'm that kind of emo.) but since I don't think that would pay my bills, I'm doing the school bit. I figured it would help me focus and get out of my funk if I did Something not my norm. As you can tell I'm pretty heavily influenced by Fred (piro) Gallagher, when I mess with pencils. Whenever I work in pencils, I always feel a little like the fish out of water. I'm such a high contrast, heavy black sort of person.

Now if I could just figure out somewhere to start on a new comic... ___________________________________________________
As for what I've been up to.

Not dead, been sick and then dealing with a lingering cough that's made work difficult. I'm trying to catch up this week. Had to focus on private work as well

thats it for now, expect some more pieces on e-bay this week.
